Shannon is currently teaching and choreographing in all genres of dance throughout the United States and including the world-famous Broadway Dance Center, of which she remains on faculty. Breaking Ground Dance Center and Studio Larkin. She also adjudicates for various competitions across the States and Internationally, is on faculty for Starpower, the largest and longest-running talent competition in the country. Shannon is also a mentor on Showcase Hub, a company that consists of the most prestigious choreographers in the US and Australia and connects industry professionals to dancers of all levels. In 2017 she travelled to Poland as a coach with the USA Dance Company for the World Championships in Jazz and Modern and most recently has filmed for the new season of Dance Moms.

Shannon was a successful Australian performer appearing in musicals such as 42nd Street and Oklahoma, where she also took on the role of dance captain. She is also an established choreographer, having created many musicals including the ever popular High School Musical 2. She effectively directed and owned Dance Technique which is a leading performing arts school on the Gold Coast that has seen numerous students secure sought after roles on Broadway and in reputable schools and companies such as The Juilliard School and The English National Ballet. She was also a founding dance professor at the prestigious Queensland Conservatorium in Brisbane, Australia.
